McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C. is thrilled to announce the addition of special counsel Carin Ramirez to the firm. Ramirez focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on defending construction defect lawsuits on behalf of corporate and individual clients including developers, general contractors and other construction professionals. Ramirez also has extensive experience in representing clients in all areas of personal injury defense, premises liability, environmental torts, wrongful death, negligent design, property damage, subrogation claims, contract disputes, bad faith and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Ramirez served as special counsel at a Colorado construction law firm where she represented clients in all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, motions, hearings and trial.

Ramirez holds an engineering degree from Michigan Technological University, a music performance degree from Michigan State University and she obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado where she served as an editor of the university’s Law Review and represented clients through their Legal Aid Clinic.

When she’s not practicing law, Ramirez enjoys playing the viola with Quartet at Law and the Littleton Symphony Orchestra, and spending time outside skiing and hiking with her family.
